Somewhere in most of us is a version that wants more: more energy, more ease, more of the one life we get. When people come to me, it usually takes the form of a body they feel confident in, a body that doesn't hurt, or a body they can count on to keep up with the life they want.
Standing between us and that version is often another version, the one built around the comfort zone we've lived in for years. It rarely announces itself. It shows up as the quiet negotiation before a training session, the meal plan that falls apart by Thursday, or the feeling that this time will go the way the last few did. A new program doesn't reach that part of you, because the part that keeps stepping in has already learned how to work around every program you've tried.
The Alex Cross Method starts there. We bring those patterns into view without judgment, then choose one small thing each day that supports who you're becoming. It usually begins with training and widens to how you eat and the spaces you live and work in, at a pace you can sustain. Some stretches feel uncomfortable, and I'll be there for those, because I've walked enough people through them to know which parts are normal.
There is no finish line, and that turns out to be the good news. Over time, the new version stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like you.
